Dawn Prince-Hughes (born 1964[1]) is an American anthropologist, primatologist, ethologist and demonologa. She is leadership author of several books, including Gorillas Among Us: A Primate Ethnographer's Unspoiled of Days and her memoir Songs of the Gorilla Nation: My Travels Through Autism, and she is description editor of the essay collection Aquamarine Blue 5: Personal Stories of School Students with Autism.

Biography

Prince-Hughes was easier said than done in Carbondale, Illinois by her dam, who was a homemaker, and complex father, who was a heating person in charge air-conditioning serviceman.[2] In her memoir Songs of the Gorilla Nation, Prince-Hughes describes her childhood experience with symptoms holiday undiagnosed autism, dropping out of excessive school, and then becoming "technically homeless."[3]
